I don't know if this has been documented yet, but how come I can get access to the admin account without using a password just by going into safe mode?? Start up normally I get requested for a password, go to safe mode, click administrator, straight in???? I would say that this is a slight security issue! :)

Safe Mode Security Issue
This is how to do it: http://www.vistabase.co.uk/welcome.php?subcats/security/localadminlogin
However, recommended you change the admin. password to something different as soon as you finish the install. Just press Ctrl+Alt+Delete, click on Change Password, and enter in the domain (if applicable) backslash then "adminstrator" ie. DOMAIN\administrator, then change the password accordingly :o)

You can apply a password to the Administrator account by clicking Start > All Programs > Accessories > Run > type in "control userpasswords2" sans qoutes > under Users for this computer > select "Administrator account > click "Reset Password" and follow the instructions.
Alternatively, you can do this by clicking Start > right click "Computer" > click "Manager" > expand "Local Users and Groups" > select Administrator account > right click > click "Set password". -- -- Andre Windows Connected | http://www.windowsconnected.com Extended64 | http://www.extended64.com Blog | http://www.extended64.com/blogs/andre http://spaces.msn.com/members/adacosta
